Professional Models + Artistic Guidance + Awesome Styling + Amazing Creatives

Join Shelley on Saturday 23rd April for a FREE informal portfolio building workshop. Starting at 1pm you'll be working with professional models, make up artists, stylists and florists to create 4 looks to shoot in the beautiful village of High Bradfield.

There will be an introductory talk and a business q & a session followed by 2 shoots; one fashion and one bridal at a beautiful location near Sheffield, (location may be subject to change depending on the weather!) the day will also include a live editing session where I'll show you how I edit and retouch my images and demonstrate my workflow for both weddings and fashion/ portrait shoots

The location for the day is the beautiful village of High Bradfield, we'll be working out of a private room at the Old Horns Inn

With the best views in the area you'll be sure to get some awesome shots for your portfolio! Plus we'll be dining on some hearty pub grub and scrummy local ale. We'll have gorgeous models and real life couples to work with along with some top notch wedding suppliers!

Meeting at the Old Horns Inn, High Bradfield at 1pm, there will be a welcome cuppa, introductions to the creative team and an introductory talk by Shelley about her work and a chance to network with other participants before we head out to shoot the first look which will be fashion orientated. Each participant will have a chance to pose the models to get the shots that they want and Shelley will be on hand directing and providing guidance and advice.

We'll then head off for some food and give the creative team chance to work their magic on the 2nd look. The second theme will be bridal and we'll hopefully be using the spectacular views as the sun is setting to get some magical images for your portfolio. We'll then head back base for a  drink and a live editing session.

The workshop is aimed at newer photographers that are looking to build up their portfolio, although there will be guidance there will not be a huge amount of technical information so participants need to have their own equipment (camera & lenses) and be confident in using them.

Places are completely FREE and will be allocated on an application basis; tell me how this workshop will benefit you, what do you hope to get out of it, what are your dreams for your photography and how do you intend to make them happen?!

Potential participants have until the 3rd of April to apply (you can be as creative as you like with your application!)

*** Places are limited to 10 so get your applications in by emailing: ***

(Attendees will also be eligible for 2nd shooting opportunities at my weddings and assisting on fashion/ portrait shoots)
